Came here for the first time for $19 AYCE, three of us could barely eat anymore after the first round of tasty deep fried items and very large pieces of rolls; yes we were stuffed by the rice and supersized items.
AYCE menu is definitely not for one person coming alone as they were not accommodating for 1/2 order or smaller portion. Best for 3 or multiple of in a group to share the food. If they change to smaller portion for AYCE, I would definitely recommend.
while we were there, the restaurant was busy with customers eating a la carte or bento box because of larger serving sizes. -

Went here for lunch (non rush hour) as my son wanted California roll locally. A lot of tell tale signs this was going to go badly when we seated ourselves in an Emory restaurant:
1) we had to flag for our waitress that we were ready to order
2) the waitress came, dropped off our teas and then disappeared even after we said we were ready to order
3) another couple sat down and also tried to flag staff down that they were ready to order--the sushi chef came out from behind the counter and then rudely tossed an order booklet onto their table!
4) 5 minutes and counting we are still waiting for our waitress
That was enough in my books. We got up and directly walked out of the restaurant.
We will never return again.
Happy Sushi had unhappy customers today. -

Decided to try it. Can only say that the service was not good and the food tasted bad. Even the rice wasn't quite right. There are so many other "corner" sushi places that are good that there is no reason to come back.

I was going to schedule a group gathering here but I decided to try it before I did.
Thank god I did because this is one of the worst AYCE/sushi restaurants I have been to in my life.
Price was $16.99 plus $1.00 extra for Fri/Sat/Sun so it was $17.99 plus tax and tip. NOT even close to being worth it.
Service is slow and nothing...NOTHING was fresh. I felt absolutely gross during and after I left. There was nothing good about the deep fried things as people stated on yelp, even the milk was disappointing. Too much batter on the battered items. Oysters tasted fishy, I love oysters and I had one and that was it. All the raw fish did not taste fresh and the tuna had a muscle vein...you know when you take a bite and you pull away there's this white string...ya well very unappetizing. I spit a lot of things out.
The only good thing was the deep fried chicken wings as it had good flavour and was juicy.
We did not eat much we didn't even go for round 2, we just paid the bill and left. The very little things we did eat we both were very thirsty afterwards.
Go anywhere but here. -

We came in around 2pm on a Tuesday and did the AYCE option for $17.95/person. The service was EXTREMELY slow, but it is also a small restaurant (seems family owned). We waited an hour for our first full order to come out. All of the rolls had too much rice in them, it made it hard to eat everything. The fried food was a little oily, but the batter itself was good.
We ordered the BC roll, Dynamite Roll, Spicy Tuna Hand Roll, Spicy Salmon Hand Roll, Takoyaki, Tofu, and Miso Soup. The BC roll was really good.
